Cathy Roberts’ distinctive glaze oil paintings usually capture very candid, private yet universal moments - quiet moments in passing - us, busy being humans (or perhaps creatures or plants being busy being creatures or plants!). Her work is quietly meaningful and very relatable. Cathy’s work is often influenced by her intense relationship to her garden and her plants there. Lately, her art has been involved with travel relationships in urban settings - particularly motorcycle travel.
Cathy is a long-time resident of Burlington, ON, and is a very active member of the CGOS. She is also very active in the Burlington art community, including the Burlington Fine Art Association and the Art Gallery of Burlington. We are proud to say, that she is also a founding member of the CGOS.
